Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and enhance compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive internal testing and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps, recommending corrective actions proactively.
- Oversee regulatory reporting processes related to banking laws, including overseeing HMDA, fair lending, UDAAP, truth in savings, truth in lending, Reg O, Reg W and other financial regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance management systems are effective and up-to-date with evolving industry regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on technical standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act).
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve compliance programs and training initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of risk management frameworks such as COSO.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including technical accounting standards under GAAP.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance analysis within banking or financial services sectors.
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as consumer protection laws and banking risk management practices.
- Data analysis skills to interpret complex financial data for regulatory reporting and risk assessment purposes.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed reports, conducting training sessions, and advising senior management on compliance issues.

Pay: $140,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
