What You'll Do Includes
- Draft initial pleadings, complaints, petitions, and responsive filings in divorce and related family law matters

- Draft post-hearing orders, agreed orders, and other court-submitted documents based on attorney notes and hearing summaries
- Prepare and review Marital Dissolution Agreements, Permanent Parenting Plans, and Child Support Worksheets in compliance with Tennessee statutory requirements
- Draft motions and supporting materials, including motions for temporary relief, temporary orders, and other litigation filings as matters progress
- Assist with mediation preparation, including drafting mediation statements and organizing relevant case materials
- Organize and maintain digital case files, track deadlines, and ensure all filings and correspondence are accurate, timely, and properly documented
- Communicate professionally with the supervising attorney regarding assignments, turnaround, and matter status; limited client-facing interaction may arise on an as-needed basis
Who You Are
- Paralegal with 3+ years of Tennessee family law experience; strong candidates with relevant experience may be considered regardless of years
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
- Deep familiarity with Tennessee family law procedure, court filings, and local practice norms, particularly in divorce matters
