Badesha Law is a client-focused and growing law firm specializing in Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate in the Greater Toronto Area. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and manage legal documents for family law matters including divorce, separation, custody, access, support, and property division.
Prepare financial statements, motion materials, affidavits, and court forms under the Family Law Rules .
Organize disclosure documents and mediation materials.
Maintain client files and case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional and timely manner.
Schedule and coordinate court dates, client meetings, and mediations.
Provide general administrative support to lawyers as needed.
Qualifications:
Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent legal education.
Minimum 2 years of experience in family law within Ontario.
Strong understanding of the Family Law Rules and court procedures.
Proficiency with Divorce Mate ,
Microsoft Office , and legal management software.
Exceptional drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple files independently in a fast-paced environment.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
