Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, advocate for clients in family law matters, and contribute to our firm’s reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, negotiation, and client communication skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding legal advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate family law cases, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and support matters
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and procedural law to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity
- Prepare for and participate in court depositions, hearings, and trial preparation activities
- Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests and fostering positive relationships
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and procedural requirements
Qualifiications
- Active Michigan Bar license in good standing
- Proven experience in family law practice with a strong understanding of statutory legal research and procedural law
- Prior law office experience involving litigation, court depositions, trial preparation, and legal motion drafting
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and motions with accuracy and professionalism
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients in settlement discussions or court proceedings

Pay: $90,000.00 – $138,000.00 per year
