While we typically seek an experienced Colorado family law attorney, we will consider an experienced attorney from other fields of law with litigation experience OR a new attorney (after passing the bar) with exceptional academic qualifications and a demonstrated enthusiasm for family law.
FIRM:
We are a small collaborative firm. You will receive complete support from the best paralegals and staff in town, as well as from brainstorming sessions with attorneys who are recognized leaders in the family law field. We support a positive work-life balance.
We have beautiful downtown Colorado Springs offices with mountain views and covered parking, just two blocks from the courthouse. We are tech-savvy, with all apps and client data in the cloud, so we are comfortable working in the office or at home and offer a hybrid office/home option.
SALARY:
The stated salary of $144,000 – $240,000 is for an attorney with 2-7 years of experience in Colorado family law, with the production of 110-130 billable hours per month. The minimum billing expectation for experienced attorneys is 110 hrs/mo. (Initial pay may differ for brief a period while attorney builds hours and workload.)
We are busy! The firm provides a consistent stream of high-value clientele, allowing you to focus on client support and legal strategy. Demonstrated industriousness is rewarded with pay increases as productivity and billable hours increase. The specific salary will depend upon years of experience and billable hours; illustrative examples:
- $90,000 (no experience & 90 billable hours/mo)
- $144,000 (2 years experience & 110 billable hours/mo)
- $210,000 (4 years experience & 120 billable hours/mo)
- $280,000 (6 years experience & 130 billable hours/mo)
