On behalf of our client, a prestigious law firm based in Dublin, we are seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join their Real Estate team. Salary: up to 50k DOE

Type of contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing sales files from initiation through to completion of the sales process;
  • Compiling booklets of title and accompanying documents for each sale;
  • Liaising with clients and agents to gather all information required for the title pack;
  • Drafting and issuing contracts to purchasers’ solicitors;
  • Responding to queries raised by purchasers’ solicitors;
  • Replying to Requisitions on Title;
  • Coordniating and conducting completions and closings;
  • Keeping sales progress trackers up to date, including inputting updates into client trackers;
  • Providing clients with regular progress updates;
  • Drafting and preparing MUD documents in connection with OMCs;
  • Managing requirements under Help to Buy (and any similar schemes);
  • Collaborating within a team environment, liaising throughout with clients’ agents and banks;
  • Preparing documentation required for registration with the Registry of Deeds and Land Registry, and resolving any related queries;
  • Handling post-completion matters, such as outstanding undertakings or queries;
  • Undertaking other administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience as a legal executive in conveyancing, ideally gained at a leading or property-focused law firm, with a preference for residential conveyancing;
  • Genuine interest in and aptitude for residential sales work;
  • Capable of working independently and using own initiative;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Solid IT skills, with experience using case management systems;
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Sound judgement and decision-making capabilities;
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
