LAW PARALEGAL — EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL
Full‑Time | In‑Office | Manchester, New Hampshire
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated paralegal to join our close‑knit legal team. If you bring experience, composure, and genuine care for clients navigating some of life’s most difficult moments, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, parenting plans, and other family law documents
- Manage and organize case files from intake through resolution
- Coordinate discovery, including gathering and organizing financial records and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Calendar deadlines, hearings, and appointments using case management software
- Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings as directed
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all client matters
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in family law, preferably in New Hampshire. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, or an ABA‑approved paralegal certificate can substitute for 1 year of experience. Prior litigation experience can also substitute.
- Familiarity with NH family court procedures and rules
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with poise
- Empathy and professionalism when working with clients in sensitive circumstances
