Robert Half is searching for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join a firm in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves providing support to attorneys, particularly in the area of estate planning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage legal documents relating to estate planning such as wills, trusts, power of attorney.

Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.

Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems.

Assist attorneys with client interviews, prepare client reports, and attend client meetings.

Manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate schedules, verify court dates, and maintain attorneys’ calendars.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role or similar position.

Ability to effectively manage calendars for multiple individuals.

Strong client relations skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
