Equinix is hiring a Paralegal or Practice Assistant to assist with a portfolio of legal disputes, including employment and real estate matters. This role is based in Toronto, Dallas, Denver, or Tampa, and involves collaborating with internal attorneys while managing legal holds and case tracking processes. You will also engage with adjacent teams to enhance overall legal effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in case management alongside managing attorneys
• Review legal filings and prepare necessary correspondence
• Manage intake platforms and law enforcement requests
• Oversee the processing of settlement payments
• Maintain internal databases for case reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years in a law firm or in-house role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with large-scale eDiscovery
