Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked global law firm seeking a Junior Energy and Infrastructure M and A Associate to join its New York, NY office on an in office basis.
This is a junior corporate opportunity for an associate who wants to build strong deal reps advising on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions in the energy and infrastructure space, including renewables and power generation.
The platform is collaborative and team oriented, with integrated coverage across core transactional and specialist practices that commonly support energy and infrastructure deals.
The Opportunity
You will support complex energy and infrastructure M and A transactions and work closely with a multidisciplinary team that may include colleagues in finance, project development, regulatory, tax, environmental, and real estate as matters require.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Junior Energy and Infrastructure M and A Associate with:
- At least 1 year of experience focused on M and A transactions
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work in office five days per week

Compensation
