Overview

Employment Law Paralegal (Hybrid) Jobs in Sherman Oaks, CA at Hillguard

Summary
We are seeking a high-performing Employment Law Paralegal with a strong litigation background to join a growing plaintiff-side employment practice within an established law firm. The practice has developed significant momentum since its launch earlier this year and now maintains an active and expanding litigation docket.

This role offers direct, one-on-one collaboration with the attorney leading the firm’s employment practice and an opportunity to become a key contributor during an important stage of its growth. Although the practice remains in its early stages, the foundation has been established. The successful candidate will step into an active, but relatively modest, caseload, established workflows, and a developing practice with considerable opportunity to help refine its operations and shape its continued expansion.

The Paralegal will take an active role throughout the litigation process, including drafting pleadings and discovery, managing filings and deadlines, coordinating case logistics, maintaining organized case files, and helping strengthen the systems that support the practice.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the judgment and initiative to take ownership of assignments and move cases forward. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal seeking more than a traditional support role and who wants to grow alongside an expanding practice, contribute meaningfully to its development, and become an integral member of the team.
