Education
Law Associate, you will Provide legal counsel to educationalinstitutions on a variety of matters, including student rights,special
education
, school policies, and regulatorycompliance.
Represent schools in legalproceedings, such as lawsuits, arbitration, andmediations.
Draft, review, and negotiatecontracts and other legal documents on behalf of educationalinstitutions.
Conduct legal research andanalysis to advise clients on potential legal issues and developstrategies to address them.
Stay abreast ofchanges in
education
law and inform clients of potential impacts ontheir operations.
Work closely with othermembers of the legal team to develop and implement effective legalstrategies.
Provide training and guidance toschool administrators and staff on legal matters.
Qualifications Theideal candidate for the
Education
Law Associate position willhave A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimumof 5 years of experience in
education
law, preferably representingschools.
Membership in good standing with the State Bar.
Excellent legal research and writingskills.
A strong understanding of the legal andregulatory issues affecting educationalinstitutions.
Exceptional interpersonal skills,with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts tonon-lawyers.
The ability to manage a diversecaseload and work effectively under pressure.
