About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Department Manager – General Affairs to lead administration, risk management, purchasing, and compliance initiatives within our factory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring administrative functions are aligned with business objectives, safeguarding company assets, managing operational risks, and fostering a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage general affairs and factory administration activities through strategic planning, coordination, policy-making, and process improvement aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure factory risks are properly managed across legal compliance, safety, environment, health, security, fixed assets, contract management, and other risk management activities
  • Oversee the Purchasing Team and ensure efficient execution of daily purchasing operations
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate company-wide activities including AGP, ASV, SCR, 5S, and other organizational events
  • Manage department budgets covering investments, operating expenses, fixed assets, office supplies, scrap sales, and miscellaneous income
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and OHS&E requirements
  • Oversee facility maintenance, security operations, and contractor compliance
  • Collaborate with HR on staff welfare, training, development, and capability-building initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize organizational risks

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Units in Master’s / Graduate Studies or a Professional License is an advantage
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field, including experience in a management function

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge in Control and Risk Management
  • Knowledge of EHSMS (Environment, Health, and Safety Management System) and OSH compliance
  • Experience in contract management, document control, and legal administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
