Direct Counsel is seeking a Debt Finance Resource Attorney to join a top-tier firm’s Debt Finance practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with at least 4 years of experience in U.S. debt finance to take on a key role supporting the firm’s practice group with knowledge management, precedent development, and internal resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Database Management – Track and input deal terms, maintain databases, and audit credit facility terms for key clients.
Form & Precedent Drafting – Draft, revise, and manage template documents, curating forms and other resources.
Legal & Market Updates – Monitor industry developments, prepare alerts, and ensure practice resources reflect market standards.
Legal Education – Assist in developing and coordinating internal training programs for attorneys.
Marketing & Business Development – Support marketing initiatives, pitch materials, and thought leadership content.
Attorney Support – Field internal requests for precedents, templates, and research using platforms such as EDGAR, Intelligize, and Practical Law.
New Initiatives – Contribute to knowledge management and practice innovation projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
At least 4 years of experience in a U.S. Debt Finance practice.
Familiarity with credit and security documentation and leveraged buyouts.
Strong drafting and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with attorneys.
Entrepreneurial mindset to develop and implement resources for the group.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $220,000 – $325,000 (Final offer depends on location and experience).
