Tasks
- You will be responsible for proactively implementing and enforcing all necessary data protection processes at local level
- You will oversee all company activities related to GDPR requirements and ensure compliance with Romanian data protection legislation
- You will act as the first point of contact for data protection matters, advising management and employees on privacy-related issues and providing timely, business-oriented solutions in line with legal requirements
- You will ensure awareness of GDPR responsibilities across the organization and take all necessary actions to prevent administrative fines and reputational or financial damage for MHP RO
- You will inform and advise all departments on their obligations under GDPR and ensure that all guidance is properly documented
- You will ensure the implementation of applicable data protection policies and procedures
- You will work with OneTrust and ensure accurate and complete data entry within the system
- You will analyse, draft, and adapt Data Processing Agreements, as well as other contracts, clauses, and templates related to personal data protection
- You will conduct or support data protection audits and privacy or data protection impact assessments
- You will develop training materials, deliver trainings, and create internal guidelines, processes, and informational resources related to data protection
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of personal data protection within a multinational group
- University degree in Law
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong intercultural and interpersonal sensitivity, combined with analytical skills and a goal-oriented working approach
- In-depth expertise in national and European data protection laws and practices, with a strong understanding of the GDPR
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with the OneTrust platform is considered an advantage
Things to know before departure:
- Start: by arrangement – always on the 1st and 15th of the month
- Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
- Employment contract: Unlimited
