Position: Â Insurance Coverage Attorney
A law firm in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group. The role involves providing legal counsel on insurance coverage matters, drafting coverage opinions, and managing litigation across a variety of coverage types. Duties
Draft clear and well-supported insurance coverage opinions.
Handle litigation of insurance coverage disputes involving CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and first-party property cases.
Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written and oral arguments.
Participate in trials, motion hearings, and depositions.
Work collaboratively with the Insurance Practice Group in a team-oriented environment.
Engage directly with clients to provide advice and updates.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
