KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the firm in maintaining legal and regulatory compliance for our Third Party Risk and Compliance processes.
Execute the onboarding process for third parties in accordance with our established standard operating procedures.
Initiate, execute and track the completion of due diligence screenings, securing necessary approvals, collecting and reviewing essential documentation, and evaluating contracts.
Utilize workflow and case management tools as well as document repositories to ensure a high degree of accuracy in maintaining records of all critical evaluation activities.
Maintain professional and effective communication with project teams and third parties to ensure the timely provision of required information and documentation.
Manage and resolve any issues or exceptions that arise during the onboarding process by coordinating with the engagement manager, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team, and control groups.
Continuously monitor ongoing certification activities, including due diligence, risk assessments, and independence evaluations.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of related experience in a Third-Party Risk role, focusing on Third Party onboarding and due diligence activities preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required.
Intermediate understanding of Third-Party Risk and compliance activities and associated regulatory requirements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of customer service orientation.
Ability to interact professionally and confidently across all organizational. levels, demonstrating highest ethical standards and a robust moral compass.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, project management skills are a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
