About us
Junior Associate attorney
A small friendly law firm looking for a bilingual associate attorney (English/Chinese, or, English/Korean) with at least two years of experience in personal injury practice, and/or immigration, and/or business law. Duties as an associate attorney consist of preparing and sending letters to insurance companies and medical providers, following up with cases, communicating with clients, sending and receiving documents through mail, email and fax, sorting, scanning to clouds, filing with courts, attending deposition, etc. Customer service in a professional manner, and work as a team are all important parts of the position.
We are looking for a self-motivated associate attorney to ensure providing effective and compassionate legal services to our clients. You are expected to provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of the managing attorney.
Skills
Proven working experience as an associate attorney
Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day handling of cases
Working knowledge of case management software
Excellent organizational and legal skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Excellent writing skills in English is a must.
Bilingual English/Chinese or Korean or Spanish is preferred but not required.
Strong computer skills are required.
Attention to detail is required.
Positive attitude, the ability to work alone & be a team player, and be motivated and take initiative are must.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
