Overview
A growing renewable energy and asset management company is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal / Legal Operations Specialist to support a high-volume entity management function and help build scalable legal operations processes.
This role will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of corporate entities, improving visibility and reporting for legal leadership, and helping establish operational structure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable creating processes from scratch, and enjoys working independently within a lean legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of approximately 600 legal entities, primarily domestic financing and special purpose vehicle (SPV) entities
- Oversee entity lifecycle management, including entity formation, onboarding acquired entities, ongoing maintenance, and dissolutions
- Coordinate with external entity management vendors and support reporting consolidation efforts
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide visibility into entity status and governance activities
- Support legal operations initiatives, including intake process design, workflow optimization, and legal technology evaluation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and create scalable processes where formal systems do not currently exist
- Partner closely with legal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support operational priorities
Qualifications
- 7+ years of corporate paralegal experience with significant entity management responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience managing large and complex entity portfolios
- Ability to independently own processes and drive organization within ambiguous environments
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience working with outside entity management providers and corporate governance vendors preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Slack
- Ability to work effectively within a remote, fast-moving team environment
Preferred Experience
- Legal operations experience, including workflow design, intake management, and legal technology implementation
- Experience supporting renewable energy, infrastructure, asset management, finance, or other entity-intensive industries
- Background working in startup, growth-stage, or highly entrepreneurial environments
