Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 international law firm seeking a mid level Corporate Associate to join its Houston Texas office.
This is a 100 percent transactional corporate role for an associate who enjoys working on sophisticated deal matters, coordinating active workstreams, and supporting senior lawyers in advising clients on commercially important business transactions.
The firm offers an established national and international corporate platform with a collaborative, team oriented culture and a Houston presence connected to significant client work. The role is suited to an associate who values consistent in office collaboration, partner access, and practical development through live transaction experience.
The Opportunity
You will support a broad range of corporate transactional matters, which may include mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, entity formation, corporate governance, due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, closing process management, and general commercial deal support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a mid level Corporate Associate with:
- Active bar admission in Texas
- Mid level associate experience handling corporate transactional matters in a law firm setting
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to work in office full time in Houston
- Willingness to commute within approximately 60 minutes of the Houston office
