We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate & M&A Lawyer to join our client in Vienna (HQ). As a leading player in its industry, we require an individual with a solid background in corporate law, M&A and international contract law.

Essential Key Activities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Legal consultancy for customer and supplier contracts
  • Support in legal disputes/proceedings, especially in case of customer claims (product liability)
  • Dealing with the legal dimentions of M&A transactions, including due diligence investigations, negotiations, and drafting transactional documentation
  • Management of shareholdings
  • Corporate law in general (e.g. restructuring) and corporate housekeeping
  • Drafting and revision of legal documents e.g. general terms & conditions, non-disclosure agreements, customer & suppliers contracts a.s.o.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve legal issues and provide guidance on potential risks

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a reputable university; (former) admission to the (Austrian) bar would be an competitive advantage
  • Minimum of seven years (up to twelve years) of experience practicing corporate law in a reputable law firm and in addition to that experience as in-house counsel in a similiar role
  • Expertise in M&A transactions and international contract law
  • Excellent understanding of corporate law and knowledge of relevant EU regulations
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal matters independently while considering business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and business acumen
  • Fluent in English, good German proficiency or even native speaker advantageous. Proficiency in other languages are highly welcome
  • Very good MS Office skills
