Conveyancer (Associate/Senior Associate)
Imperial Advisors is seeking a Conveyancer to manage the day-to-day conveyancing tasks, including drafting contracts, addressing legal enquiries, and coordinating the exchange and completion of property transactions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless case progression, meeting deadlines, and upholding the firm’s high service standards throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of conveyancing work.
- Ensure the firm’s Service Standards are met.
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title deeds, searches, and mortgage offers.
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle client and third-party legal enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Keep up to date with changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
- Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing Protocols of the UK is a must.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal, is essential.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders in the UK legal context.
Additional Information
- Location: This is an office-based role in Kohuwala, Sri Lanka.
- Salary: Competitive salary paid in GBP. EPF and ETF contributions are also provided.
- Work Hours: The role requires working UK business hours, from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM Sri Lankan time.
- Benefits: Medical insurance provided by the company.
- Employees will receive holidays in accordance with Sri Lankan labour laws, except that UK public holidays will apply instead of Sri Lankan public holidays.
