ALG Manousakis Law Firm desires to hire a legal secretary/paralegal for our contracts team in Athens with the following criteria:
General Summary
Provide support to the contracts team attorneys with minimal supervision. The principal goal is to support attorneys by performing a range of clerical and administrative duties related to contract management. Exercise judgment with attention to detail while completing time-sensitive and confidential matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial support attorneys on the contracts team.
- Tracking, creation, maintenance and organization of contracts, amendments, and related legal documents.
- Managing contract databases and tracking systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Coordinating with clients and counterparties to obtain signatures, collect documents, and follow up on contract-related matters.
- Filing and organizing executed contracts in contract management systems and maintaining version control.
- Preparing initial drafts of standard agreements using approved templates and attorney guidance.
- Monitoring contract deadlines, renewal dates, and key milestones; supporting with presentations and reports as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Prior work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with exposure to commercial contracts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
- Team oriented personality.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Familiarity with contract management software and document management systems is a strong plus.
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients, counterparties, and attorneys.
- High attention to detail required.
- Excellent command of the English language; strong written and verbal skills.
- Additional language capabilities (e.g. IT; FR; ESP; DE) are a strong plus.
- Previous legal secretarial or office administration experience preferred.
