Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Officer role at the PEARL facility in Lagos, Nigeria. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, maintaining compliance with legal requirements, and creating functional job descriptions. The role also involves recruitment, performance management, and employee development, contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
- Experience in developing HR Policies and defining Job Descriptions
- Strong skills in Employee Relations and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of labor laws and best practices in HR
- Proven ability to handle recruitment and employee performance management effectively
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role within the oil, gas, or related industry is a plus
