Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate trade contracts with vendors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring all terms align with legal and corporate standards.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms that support strategic business goals.
Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to align contract terms with overall business objectives.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
Maintain organized records of all contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
Resolve contract-related disputes efficiently and professionally.
Provide regular reporting and updates on contract status, performance, and risks to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in contract management is a strong plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a similar role, preferably within a trading company.
Experience working in a trading company’s legal or contract management department is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, international trade regulations, and negotiation principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
