Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Contract Negotiator. The Contract Negotiator will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contractual agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to support Valenta’s global operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing contract terms, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, and aligning agreements with business objectives. The role will collaborate closely with procurement, legal, finance, and project teams to optimize contract structures, manage renewals, and maintain accurate contract records. The Contract Negotiator will also contribute to process improvements in contract management and support the development of negotiation strategies that drive favorable commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contractual Agreements, with the ability to draft, review, and refine terms.
- Experience in Contract Management and Procurement, including managing contract lifecycles and vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for assessing risks, pricing, and commercial implications of contractual terms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain complex terms clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and international environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field; legal or contract management certifications are an advantage.
- Experience with contract management software and proficiency in standard office productivity tools.
- Background in consulting, technology, or professional services and familiarity with Business Process Automation is beneficial.
