Inc. is a construction company with 22 years of experience specializing in water infrastructure projects, including pipelaying, wastewater facilities, and reservoir engineering. We are currently managing seven ongoing projects across Greater Metro Manila in partnership with Manila Water and Maynilad Water.

About the Job:

We are looking for a Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring that all contractual, legal, and commercial obligations are effectively managed and protected. This role serves as the primary authority on contract interpretation, administration, and risk management for key accounts, while working closely with project teams to safeguard company interests and ensure successful project delivery.

About the Role

Contract Management & Administration

  • Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of construction contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements
  • Interpret contract terms and provide guidance to internal stakeholders (project, finance, operations)
  • Ensure proper contract execution, documentation, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain a centralized repository of all contracts, amendments, and correspondences

Claims & Variations Management

  • Manage contract variations, change orders, and claims (EOT, cost claims, etc.)
  • Evaluate entitlement, prepare documentation, and support negotiation of claims with clients
  • Monitor events that may trigger contractual claims or disputes
  • Ensure timely submission of notices in accordance with contract provisions

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify contractual and commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contract conditions
  • Advise management on contractual exposure and risk allocation
  • Work closely with legal counsel on complex or high-risk contracts

Commercial & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor project financials in line with contractual terms (billing, milestones, retention, penalties)
  • Validate progress billings and ensure alignment with contract conditions
  • Track revenue recognition, cost exposure, and margin protection
  • Support tendering and bid evaluation from a contractual and commercial standpoint

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with key clients
  • Lead contract-related discussions, negotiations, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure contract adherence
  • Provide regular updates and reports on contract status, risks, and key issues

Dispute Resolution

  • Handle disputes, claims escalation, and contract enforcement
  • Prepare documentation for dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation)
  • Liaise with external legal advisors when necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field
  • Licensed Engineer or with legal background (preferred)
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in construction contracts, contract administration, or commercial management
  • Strong experience in handling large-scale construction contracts and key accounts
  • Experience with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or local Philippine construction contracts)
