We are working with a highly regarded specialist law firm seeking a Paralegal to join their growing Contentious Probate team. The firm has developed an excellent reputation for handling complex and high-value inheritance disputes, offering exceptional client service alongside high-quality legal expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious paralegal looking to develop their career within a specialist litigation team. Working closely with experienced solicitors and partners, you will gain exposure to a varied caseload while playing an integral role in supporting clients through often sensitive and complex disputes.

Typical duties will include:
- Assisting solicitors with a broad range of contentious probate matters from inception through to resolution.
- Drafting legal correspondence, court documents, witness statements, and bundles.
- Conducting legal research relating to wills, estates, trusts, and inheritance disputes.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties.
- Preparing files for hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Managing document review, disclosure exercises, and case administration.
- Supporting fee earners with business development and client relationship management where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within contentious probate, private client litigation, commercial litigation, or civil litigation is highly desirable.
- A Law degree, LPC, SQE, or equivalent legal qualification.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Outstanding communication and client care abilities.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within contentious probate.
