-Job Summary:
The job holder shall be responsible to assists the legal management by providing expert advice on the resolution of any legal issues by researching on references, initiating and responding to legal actions, compiling and preparing legal information required for MOPH departments.
-Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal advice on the various topics and issues.
2. Cooperate with the administration to develop strategies for the ministry.
3. Oversee the application of effective risk management techniques and provide advice on potential legal issues.
4. Follow up communication and negotiation with external parties, and participating in the membership of internal and external committees, which require the joining of a legal member.
5. Draft and review international agreements and contracts for the ministry.
6. Investigate the facts and violations attributed to the Ministry’s employees, preparing the necessary notes of the investigation results, together with the legal opinion and recommendations, presenting them to the competent authority, and following up the implementation of decisions taken in their regard.
7. Prepare draft legislative tools for the ministry.
8. Express legal opinion on issues referred to management.
9. Prepare and review draft contracts, international agreements and memoranda of understanding.
10. Proficiency in negotiation skills and the ability to make decisions.
11. Supervise legal researchers and guiding them with the tasks and job duties assigned to them, contributing to explaining and interpreting laws to them, and directing them on how to follow legal procedures regarding expressing legal opinion and preparing necessary legal projects and notes.
12. Perform other duties as requested to meet the ongoing organizational needs.

-Essential Education:
Bachelor’s degree in law or any other relevant field.
-Essential Experience:
Based on the education and experience, the grade would vary in line with the HR law.
-Language Skills:
Advanced level in English and Arabic
-Computer Skills:
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office applications.
