At INVIRO, we seek a dedicated Construction Lawyer who is licensed to practice in Ontario. You will draft and negotiate contracts, conduct risk evaluations, and advise on statutory obligations. Anticipating legal risks and providing solutions are key responsibilities as you serve as internal counsel on construction disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate construction contracts and procurement documents
• Advise on project delivery methods and compliance requirements
• Conduct risk evaluations on contracts and project agreements
• Lead dispute resolution activities including arbitration and mediation
• Train internal stakeholders on legal contracting topics
Requirements:
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario
• Proven experience in construction law and risk management
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Background in construction disputes and resolution
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
