Description
Our Legal Department in Latham is ​hiring a full-time Associate In-House Counsel to join their team! The hours are Monday – Friday; 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
review and draft proposed contracts, assist in the negotiation of contracts, and ensure that contracts meet business and legal objectives;
provide legal advice with respect to corporate governance and administration;
assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms;
provide legal guidance and support for various practice activities and issues;
support CCP TASS risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks to Community Care Physicians, PLLC;
monitor pertinent legislative and regulatory developments;
educate board, management, health care providers, and other staff when necessary;
assist in overseeing outside counsel; and
assist in handling complex legal matters, business transactions, or other projects as assigned.

Annual salary range: $125,000 – $187,500

Requirements
Required Qualifications
All candidates must have the following, or substantially similar, qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Five (5) years Health law experience in private practice or as in-house counsel
Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire
