Are you ready to make a real impact on our operations and shape the compliance culture of a leading fintech? We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Risk and Compliance Management Department and ensure our operations meet all regulatory requirements, supervisory expectations, and the highest ethical standards. This is a strategic and independent role where you will communicate directly with management and supervisory authorities, while driving meaningful progress. We are on the lookout for individuals who are committed to self-improvement and are not afraid to employ innovative AI tools in their daily work to drive progress.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Monitor developments in legislation, supervisory authority recommendations, and expectations, inform responsible individuals, and assist them in adapting;
  • Prepare and update internal documents related to regulatory changes;
  • Draft the annual compliance program and compliance report, presenting them to the CEO and the Board;
  • Review and oversee internal compliance policies, methodologies, and procedures;
  • Advise department heads and employees on compliance matters;
  • Organize internal compliance training sessions;
  • Evaluate new products and services from a compliance perspective prior to their implementation;
  • Prepare quarterly reports and present them to the CEO and the Board;
  • Conduct ad-hoc checks in selected areas several times a year;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth implementation of the compliance function;
  • Foster a culture of compliance within the company;
  • Liaise with supervisory authorities, such as the Bank of Lithuania, as required;
  • Perform routine daily tasks using Gemini or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What we’re looking for:

  • Higher education degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in compliance, law, or financial regulation;
  • Excellent Lithuanian language skills and very good English language skills;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify trends, and make sound decisions;
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex regulatory information;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously;
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, compliance management tools, and internal systems;
  • Impeccable reputation and adherence to high ethical standards;
  • Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like Gemini and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in communicating with regulatory authorities or conducting audits/inspections;
  • Knowledge of financial regulation such as PSD2, EMD2, AML/CTF, MiCA, or related directives;
  • Ability to use AI tools, such as Gemini, Claude, to improve process efficiency;
  • Experience in the fintech or electronic money institution sector.
