Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously update compliance policies, procedures, and internal control systems to ensure adherence to DFSA regulations.
- Establish and maintain the AML/CTF framework, conduct customer due diligence (CDD), sanctions screening, risk classification, and enhanced due diligence.
- Act as the primary contact with regulators, respond to regulatory inquiries, coordinate inspections, and manage ongoing supervisory interactions.
- Provide advice to senior management and front‑office teams on regulatory risks, code of conduct, client categorisation, financial promotions, and market conduct obligations.
- Deliver regulatory and AML training to front‑office and support staff as required by DFSA.
- Investigate, document, and report compliance breaches or suspicious activities to DFSA.
Qualifications
- :Bachelor’s degree or above in law, finance, accounting, risk management, or a related discipline
- .At least 5 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry; experience in securities brokerage or investment firms under the DFSA regulatory framework is preferred
- .Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA Diploma are preferred; must meet DFSA continuing professional development (CPD) requirements
- .Familiarity with DFSA rules (GEN, COB, AML, PIB, etc.) and UAE anti‑money laundering regulations; strong document drafting, communication, and cross‑departmental collaboration skills
- .Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
