About the Opportunity
A well-established Central Florida law firm is seeking an attorney with experience in community association law, particularly HOA and condominium collections, to join its growing practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing homeowners’ and condominium associations and understand the unique legal and operational issues that arise in community association practice. Attorneys with a background in collections, foreclosures, covenant enforcement, or association litigation are especially encouraged to apply.
This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys while developing a broad community association practice and building long-term relationships with association clients.
What You’ll Do
The attorney will represent condominium and homeowners’ associations in assessment collections and foreclosure matters. Responsibilities will include:
- Advising boards of directors and community association managers on legal and operational issues
- Handling covenant enforcement matters
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents
- Drafting corporate documents and providing guidance regarding association governance
- Attending board of directors and membership meetings
- Preparing legal opinions and providing day-to-day legal counsel
- Handling general civil litigation involving association clients
- Handling insurance disputes and hurricane-related claims
- Assisting with construction defect matters
- Conducting legal research and preparing pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation or related legal practice and a genuine interest in developing a career in community association law.
Candidates should have:
- Active membership in The Florida Bar in good standing
- Prior community association law experience strongly preferred
- HOA and condominium collections experience highly preferred
- Experience with assessment collections, foreclosures, covenant enforcement, or association litigation is a plus
- 1-5 years of relevant legal experience preferred; attorneys with more or less experience may be considered based on their background and interest in community association law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a close-knit team
- Professional demeanor and strong commitment to client service

Work Environment & Schedule
This is primarily an in-office position.
The firm is located in Maitland, Florida, and the attorney will occasionally travel throughout the Orlando, Daytona, and Tampa areas for marketing events, board meetings, and site inspections.
Attorneys are expected to accurately record and bill their time; however, the firm does not impose a formal monthly billable-hour requirement.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000-$130,000, depending on experience, plus potential performance-based bonuses paid quarterly.
Compensation may vary based on experience.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
