Commercial Property Solicitor – Newcastle-under-Lyme An established and highly regarded law firm in Staffordshire is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (5 PQE) to lead its Commercial Property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior property lawyer looking to combine high-quality legal work with leadership, team development and strategic growth. This position offers far more than a traditional fee-earning role.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence the direction of the department, work alongside senior leaders, mentor colleagues and play a key role in the firm’s continued expansion. The role As Head of Commercial Property, you will manage a varied caseload while leading and developing the department.
You’ll work with a broad client base, including businesses, developers, investors and landlords, delivering practical commercial advice and exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing commercial property acquisitions and disposals Advising on commercial leases, lease renewals and landlord and tenant matters Handling property finance and secured lending transactions Supporting SMEs, developers, investors and commercial clients Leading, mentoring and developing the Commercial Property team Driving business development and strengthening client relationships Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department About you To be considered, you should have:
Qualified Solicitor with 5 years’ PQE in Commercial Property Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience, or the ambition to step into a leadership role Excellent communication and client relationship management skills A commercial approach with a genuine interest in developing both people and the department What’s on Offer?
