Our client, a boutique firm in the GTA, is seeking a senior commercial litigation lawyer to join its well-respected team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of strong advocacy experience including experience acting for banks, private mortgage lenders, and other institutional clients on mortgage enforcement litigation, and a strong understanding of the commercial realities of these matters.
The successful candidate will have solid court experience, including drafting pleadings and factums, attending contested motions, and some trial experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator looking to join a mid-sized, collaborative firm with a strong commercial litigation practice and the opportunity to take on sophisticated matters and build lasting client relationships.
