Role Description
This part-time hybrid role as a Commercial Lawyer is based in Melbourne, VIC, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. The Commercial Lawyer will review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, address legal issues, provide tailored legal advice, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, assisting them in resolving complex commercial legal matters while integrating Awelle’s innovative legal technologies.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Law and handling Commercial Contracts
- Experience in addressing Legal Issues and providing tailored Legal Advice
- Knowledge of Data Privacy laws and their application in modern businesses
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with legal tech solutions and automation tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and a valid legal practice certificate in Australia
