Associate Attorney – Family, Civil & Criminal Law
Location: Punta Gorda, FL (Main Office); North Port, FL (Appointment-Only Office)
Our law firm continues to grow, and we’re looking to add a motivated Associate Attorney to our expanding legal team. With four practicing attorneys and a Managing Attorney providing oversight and mentorship, we offer a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality legal services.
We practice in Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Trial Law throughout Charlotte, Sarasota, DeSoto, and Lee Counties. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a supportive team setting and is eager to develop or deepen their skills in these areas.
Position Overview:
The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm’s experienced litigators and Managing Attorney. Initially, the Associate will assist on active caseloads and not maintain an independent caseload. As part of a structured development track, this role is designed to progress into a Lead Attorney position with individual case responsibility.

Westlaw Precision for legal research and document generation

Workload Expectations:
Target 25–30 billable hours per week

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
Proficient with Westlaw or LexisNexis

Strong negotiation and communication abilities
Prior legal administrative or litigation support experience is a plus
