Civil Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury, Sexual Assault, Mass Torts Jobs in Beverly Hills, CA at Slater Slater Schulman LLP
We are currently looking for an attorney to work with our litigation team on corporate and real estate disputes, including in State and Federal courts and alternative dispute resolution forums throughout Southern California. A preferred candidate should have five to ten years’ experience in civil litigation.
The position requires an ability to handle cases independently. An applicant should have experience in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including motion practice and discovery processes. Trial experience is preferred. The position requires an ability to think critically and strategically, and to develop a matter from pre-litigation strategy through trial.

Responsibilities:
· Analyze and evaluate claims, defenses, and legal issues.
· Draft legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, motions and other briefs, written discovery documents, and other court filings.
· Attend depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and site visits.
· Attend court proceedings, including hearings and trial proceedings.
Requirements:
· Current active member of the California Bar.
· Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school and strong academic performance.
· Five or more years of relevant experience practicing civil litigation.
