Essential Functions:
Scan and properly name, file, date and distribute all incoming documents from daily mail, faxes and attorney services
Copy, scan and send all signed court documents within firm or client deadlines
Scan and send all signed letters and correspondence in a timely manner
E-filing
Import client data, files and reports into our system (JST)
Export data and manage reports in excel
Provide backup to other members of our team
Other duties as assigned
Protect the confidential information that is part of the job functions and responsibilities.
Maintain knowledge of current practices and procedures of collections practice including client policies and procedures
Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, deadlines and steps required in the collections process in order to transition data/information to and from the client without delays or missed steps in the process.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, disclosure and reporting for CFPB, FDCPA, etc.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred)
Legal experience preferred
Most office experience a plus
Positive, enthusiastic personality
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to overcome difficult scenarios
Proficiency with database software and MS Office Suite
