Trust Claims Investigator
About us: Maune Raichle Hartley French and Mudd, LLC is a national plaintiff’s law firm that focuses exclusively on representing victims of mesothelioma and their claims. With offices across the country and rapidly growing teams, we are dedicated to maximizing the recovery of our deserving clients.
What we’re looking for: Our St. Louis, Missouri office is seeking to hire an investigator to support the Bankruptcy/Trust Claims department by interviewing clients, drafting documents, and other duties. We are looking for energetic, driven, detail-oriented people for this on-site position.
Experience preferred:
· Prior work experience in construction, automotive, industrial, shipbuilding, or similar trade profession is preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Interviewing clients about their work history and exposure to asbestos;
· Locate and interview witnesses;
· Research clients’ work history and work sites to determine product and exposure and how they correlate to the work function;
· Extensive research and drafting affidavits;
· Attend and perform document reviews to identify relevant and useful documents;
· Frequent travel to clients’ homes.
Skills desired:
· Ability to work under pressure due to time and content sensitive deadlines;
· Strong computer skills;
· Experience with legal research and interview skills and techniques is preferred;
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to establish and foster working relationships with attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants;
· Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve;
· Ability to put clients at ease and establish a trusting and comfortable relationship.
