Location: Walnut Creek, California. This is an on-site opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working closely with colleagues and clients in a professional office environment in the East Bay.
Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have at least 4 years of directly relevant civil litigation experience.

Job Description
- Manage civil litigation matters through multiple stages of the litigation lifecycle.
- Develop case strategy, evaluate claims and defenses, and help drive matters toward successful resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and other proceedings.
- Work directly with clients to understand objectives, provide strategic guidance, and communicate case developments.
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, persuasive written analysis.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while independently managing deadlines and priorities.
- Negotiate practical resolutions while remaining prepared to advocate aggressively when litigation requires it.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license.
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong litigation writing, research, analytical, and case management skills.
- Experience handling discovery, motions, depositions, and litigation strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client priorities.
- Professional, responsive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of cases.
