Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled legal assistant to join its dynamic International/Immigration Team. The ideal candidate will have a positive “can-do” attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.
Responsibilities
Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests.
Track billing records and help send billing invoices prepared by Accounting.
Assemble and file immigration petitions.
Track case status progress with great attention to detail.
Maintain attorney’s calendar and other administrative work including check requests for client filings and reimbursements.
Qualifications
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Can create positive client interactions through understanding and communicating information effectively in writing, by phone, by e-mail, or in person.
High attention to detail.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently.
Prior U.S. immigration experience is strongly preferred.
Preference may be given to applicants who are fluent in Spanish.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
