Our client is a leading global digital asset management platform serving (U)HNWIs, intermediaries, and institutions. With a strong presence in Switzerland, the UK, and the US, they are on an ambitious path toward a $5-7BN USD valuation, with a clear exit strategy via IPO or acquisition.
The Role
As Chief Legal Officer, you will lead global legal, regulatory, and compliance strategies for a rapidly expanding digital asset business. This high-impact role requires deep expertise in financial regulation, investment product structuring, and cross-border compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Expansion – Drive licensing efforts across the UK, US, Switzerland, UAE, and other jurisdictions.
Investment Product Structuring – Oversee the legal framework for funds, SMAs, and future digital asset products.
Business Growth – Advise on global expansion, market entry, and product launches.
Risk & Compliance – Ensure AML/KYC compliance, oversee regulatory filings, and engage with regulators.
Corporate Governance – Lead board governance, investor negotiations, and corporate structuring.
Contract & Partnership Management – Negotiate and oversee key agreements with investors, vendors, and partners.
Who they are looking for
Extensive senior legal experience in financial services, fintech, or asset management.
Expertise in investment products (funds, SMAs) and global financial regulations (FCA, SEC, FINMA, MAS, SCA).
Proven track record in corporate transactions, capital raising, and multi-jurisdictional licensing.
Strong strategic mindset, able to translate legal risk into business opportunities.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at the board level.
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced fintech environments.
