Job Description
- Act as principal legal adviser to the CEO and Board
- Lead global legal, governance and compliance strategy
- Oversee corporate governance, board processes and secretariat matters
- Lead compliance programmes covering anti-corruption, ESG, trade and data privacy
- Provide legal leadership on major commercial contracts and global transactions
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Build and lead a lean, high-performing global legal function
The Successful Applicant
- Senior in-house legal leadership experience in a global organisation
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, mining or asset‑heavy sectors
- Proven credibility operating at Board and executive level
- Strong grounding in corporate and commercial law
- Track record managing legal risk across multiple jurisdictions
- Commercial, pragmatic and hands-on leadership style
