Our client, a top Am 100 law firm, is seeking an associate to join their highly regarded Agency and Trust team within the Capital Markets practice. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-4 years of legal experience in structured finance, particularly in handling various securitization products such as Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), Whole Business Securitization, Triple-Net (NNN) leases, Auto, and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS).
Ideal Candidate
Please only share candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience after graduating from law school.
Candidates must have stable experience at an Am 100/200 law firm or boutique or mid-size firm.
Strong academic background needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent trustees, security registrars, collateral administrators, and securities administrators in structured finance transactions.
Review and negotiate primary transaction documents and agreements.
Draft and negotiate ancillary documents and agreements.
Maintain effective communication with clients and transaction counter parties.
Work collaboratively with the team to manage and support all aspects of the practice’s workload.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with robust research abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail.

Technical Skills and Licensing Requirements:
2-4 years of experience within a law firm environment.
Must be licensed to practice law in New York and be in good standing.
