Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Jobs in Phoenix, AZ at The Husband & Wife Law Team
Civil defense firm looking to hire a candidate who is experienced, highly organized, can multitask and is motivated. Must be prepared to work in a busy/high-paced office. Must be comfortable managing calendars, scheduling, answering phone calls, and communicating.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience as a legal assistant is preferred but not necessary.
Duties:
– Transcribe dictations
– Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
– File legal documents with courts
– Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars
– Provide administrative support, including answering phones and managing emails
Skills:
– Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
– Excellent attention to detail for proofreading and reviewing legal documents
– Proficient in using document management systems and other software applications
– Ability to transcribe dictations accurately and efficiently
– Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
