Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the pre-suit management process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a desire to make a difference.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interview new clients and develop a reliable relationship with clients assigned;
Collect all injury information, evidence and documentation to build the client’s case, and save into our Firm’s case management software (training will be provided);
Generate a weekly/monthly report with results for all assigned tasks.
Write demand letters, collect supporting documents and medical records, and send them to insurance adjusters for policy limit settlements;
Calendar important dates and track deadlines for each case file;
Obtain, file, and log medical liens and records for case files.
Assist with case management and other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills
Ideally over 3 years of personal injury case management experience
Detail-oriented professional with a positive outlook
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience handling large volume of personal injury pre-lit cases
Type at least 60 wpm
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field highly preferred but not required.
Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a must.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Some work on weekends is possible but very rare.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
