About the Opportunity Our client, an International law firm, has an immediate need for a fluently bilingual Quebec Called litigation associate with 3 to 10 years’ experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
Work on a variety of files in the areas of civil and commercial litigation in French and English Provide in depth pragmatic analysis and merits of litigation to clients and work as effective business partners with same Bring cases to mediation and/or trial process where merited Take a
teamwork
approach throughout the litigation process Provide specific advice to clients in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency and construction litigation Provide mentorship to junior lawyers About You The successful candidate will have the following: 3 to 10 years’ experience in civil and commercial litigation Be a member of the Quebec Bar Be a member of the Ontario Bar (an asset) Be fluently bilingual in French and English, written and spoken Exceptional organizational and client servicing skills Excellent writing skills and the ability to convey complex matters in a simple manner Experience in bankruptcy/insolvency litigation and construction litigation (an asset) Excellent interpersonal and
