We’re looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with bankruptcy paralegal experience and skills to join our growing law firm. The right candidate will be involved in the day-to-day data entry, drafting claims, agreements, and pleadings related to the Firm’s creditors’ rights bankruptcy practice. This role requires proficiency in the various Chapters of bankruptcy. This position is open to candidates with legal assistant/paralegal background/training with bankruptcy experience.
Responsibilities:
- Performing bankruptcy paralegal and administrative duties in an office setting.
- Prepare various pleadings and documents in a creditors’ rights bankruptcy practice for attorney review.
- Update clients regarding the status of pending cases.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and their staff concerning bankruptcy cases.
- Data entry with emphasis on accuracy.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a bankruptcy paralegal role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel) is required.
- Experience with Clio case management software desired.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
